Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actress and producer famous for the roles she performed on the television series Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist as well as the TV series The Mentalist. She received an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University, and a Master in acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is a producer and American actor active in the theatre as well as television and film. She began her acting career in theater and later appeared in several television series and independent and mainstream movies. She became famous as Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico, and also appeared on BET's epic drama The Book of Negroes. In both roles, she was praised by critics and received various nominations and awards including her first award, the Television Critics Choice Award for the best Actress. Her first professional performance was as Ariel in The Tempest. Her stage credits are Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production by Joe Turner. In her film career she is most famous for parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her most well-known role is her role on ABC's crime-drama High Incident.
