Antonia Lofaso

Antonia Lofaso's cooking is an invitation to explore the depths of her cooking. She developed a curiousity about food when she moved from suburban Long Island to the diverse cultures of Los Angeles. Cavatelli and Carnitas are able to blend seamlessly with the food menu. This is an idea that has developed in the course of many years. What remains is her singular idea of the future and looking back to the old. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso who was influenced by her Italian American tradition. The restaurant was greeted with an enthusiastic reception. Lofaso has been praised for her interpretation of traditional Italian cuisine. Lofaso is described by a lot of people as a local favourite that serves up food that's authentic, delicious and inviting. Lofaso was trained by renowned chefs to master their techniques. But she didn't hesitate to take bold decisions in order to honour her instincts. She was in close contact with many celebrities and rose rapidly through the ranks at Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in 2011. Lofaso's home was found in Black Market Liquor Bar and her business relationships. Lofaso's creative freedom would be fostered with this partnership. Black Market does not have any one specific direction, that's the intention. It could begin with dill potato chips and shishito peppers followed by a lobster roll Korean wings, and then a series of meatballs. Antonia is the linchpin of this dazzling variety. Through her entire career, Lofaso has measured her success with her exceptional ability to understand her audience but still remain true to her own personality. She has been a part of numerous television shows including Top Chef Chicago, Top Chef: All Stars as well as Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child on The Food Network and ABC's Real O'neals. Her talents continue to be recognized in her role as a judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup. Lofaso joined forces together with Penguin Publishing to create The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 recipes of Quick, Delicious, Home Cooked Meals. In this publication, she describes her life as a mother and a participant of The French Culinary Institute. Lofaso maintains that the inspiration behind all of Lofaso's accomplishments is her kitchen. It's through this vein she is always in the pulse. Through the Chefletics brand, she's altering the appearance of her industry by re-designing clothes for the kitchen that are stylish as well as practicality. Lofaso's main concern is to stay in line with her mission. With this in mind she has launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. This provides customers with an extremely personal experience.
