Catherine Ford is a British actress who was born in Bloomsbury. When her father's departure from her household, the actress was grew up by her mother, godparents and grandmother. Ford was suffering from anxiety disorder that was rooted in word associations as a young teenager. Ford was interested in the field of acting during her teen years, and was a part of the National Youth Theatre. Ford gained entry to the Sylvia Young Theatre School, however, she decided after one week that she was a poor fit there. Ford, instead of applying to Central School of Speech and Drama and securing a place after her third try made an application and secured an admission to the Central School of Speech and Drama. Shaun Dingwall played Pete Tyler in Doctor Who. Ford graduated in 1993 but, by that time she already had made her debut on television in an episode from 1991 from Surgical Spirit; she adopted the name of her professional "Catherine Tate". Tate made her television debut in the year 1991, appearing in shows such as The Bill. Men Behaving Badly. and London's Burning. Her regular work in theatre has led to her joining The Royal Shakespeare Company, for the 2000-2001 season. Tate gained not long after her recognition for her stand-up comedies that were added to Tate's show in the year 1996.
